Scholarship Recipient Graduates from Medical School
On Sunday, March 1, 2026, longtime school-scholarship recipient Syndie graduated from the University with a degree in Medicine. We met Syndie in 2017, when she was starting the 9th grade. For 9 years, our program helped cover tuition, books, and uniforms. Syndie begins a year-long internship, and her future goals include helping other Haitians succeed and rebuilding her community and country.
Typically, we would send a representative to attend a graduation, but due to continued violence and kidnapping in Haiti, this was not possible. However, our Program Assistant Pastor Edome Orvilus attended the graduation ceremony.
