Twelve Pieh Students take THE high school national exam
In July, TWELVE PieH scholarship recipients will take the Haitian National Exam. In Haiti, students take a four-day national exam after their senior year, which is THE qualifier for university admission. Historically, only four percent of Haitians pass the exams.
Our program paid the high school tuition, books, and uniforms for each of these. students and is covering the expenses of transportation and food on the four days of exams. Haitians have been exposed to severe civil unrest resulting in street violence and kidnappings. Traveling to take an exam can be a scary journey for these students. We wish all of the students and their families the best.
